The comedian Russell Brand, who’s currently promoting his worldwide standup tour called The Messiah Complex, went on MSNBC’s Morning Joe and, after apparently being offended by some culturally-insensitive remarks made by the hosts, let loose on them. “This is what you all do for a living?” Brand finally asked them. “Let me help you. I’m here to promote a tour called Messiah Complex, it’s here for the people of America. I want the people of America to come see me do standup … These people are typically good at their jobs, I’m sure. You’re here to convey news to the people of America? People of America we’re going to be ok. Everything’s all right. These are your trusted anchors.”

Please don’t buy this system.
cant you just turn the camera around or put a blanket over it.

and theres the chance that it might say something like “error kinect camera cannot function when obscured”
Videogame consoles are not supposed to spy on you.
Videogame consoles are not supposed to potentially rat you out to the government.
Videogame consoles are not supposed to arbitrarily decide who sees what’s on the screen and what’s not.
I have never told anyone not to buy a videogame console, but in this case, knowing what I know about the Xbox One, I am seriously imploring people not to buy this machine. The console will not be consumer-friendly, and between the above and an always-on internet connection, how do you know your hobby isn’t siphoning personal information to…well, who knows who?
Suffice it to say, the Xbox 360 will be my last Microsoft console. I don’t care how many more Halo games get churned out.
Adding this here from my videogame blog because it’s too important, and the potential for Microsoft to spy on us, then report findings to the government if asked…yeah, no.
Spread the word!
If you haven’t read George Orwell’s “1984”, do so.
Seriously.
Yeah this is some Big Brother shit.
Wtf
Maybe the government tried to take over Microsoft to spy on us, and Microsoft PURPOSELY made the worst game system ever to exist JUST so we wouldn’t buy it and we’d be safe from the government.
Thanks Microsoft!

Mort Musings: More Dark Souls II E3 Analysis. →
So there was some new game footage released this E3 and I noticed something very interesting.
In this video, we see a spellcaster character. This character is very clearly using a Sorcery Catalyst and Sorcery magic.

Nothing out of the ordinary, right?
But moments later we see the character use fire magic with the exact same catalyst.

So what does this mean? It means that lorewise, the character isn’t using Pyromancy. They’re using something different.
In the world of Dark Souls, Pyromancy appeared 1,000 years in the past. The Witch of Izalith tried and failed to duplicate the First Flame, and created the Bed of Chaos, unleashing chaos into the world. Her daughter, Quelana, later created the art of pyromancy from this event.
Before this event there were the old fire arts, flame sorcery. This ancient art was forgotten by the time the events of Dark Souls takes place. The flamce sorcery used sorcery catalysts, like the Izalith Catalyst you can find in game.
Izalith Catalyst

“Catalyst of the Witch of Izalith of long ago, when her daughters were still flame witches, before they were engulfed by the Chaos Flame. Before the birth of pyromancy, their wands were mediums for sorcery, but knowledge of this flame sorcery has long since vanished.”
The presence of the old fire arts is just more evidence pointing towards a prequel, specifically during the First Age of Fire.
